INDUSTRY INPUT NEEDED ON CRITICAL ISSUES
Alexandria,
VA ?
The American
Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) announced today its release
of the 2006 Annual Top Industry Issues Survey. The American
Trucking Associations (ATA) annually commissions ATRI to survey the
industry to identify the most critical issues confronting the
industry today and in the future.
This is the second
survey of a two-stage process to identify and prioritize top
industry issues and strategies. The first, conducted in May,
surveyed freight transportation stakeholders to identify priority
issues. This survey creates a prioritization process for those
issues and allows stakeholders to rank the most promising strategies
for addressing each.
The results of the
survey will be released at ATA?s Annual Management Conference and
Exhibition to be held in Dallas, Texas in October. The survey can
be accessed online at:

ATRI is the
trucking industry?s 501(c)(3) not-for-profit research organization.
It is engaged in critical research relating to freight
transportation?s essential role in maintaining a safe, secure and
efficient transportation system.
