ATRI and FMCSA to co-Host National online forum

Arlington, VA – On January 8th, FMCSA and ATRI will co-host another in a series of national online forums that provide peer-to-peer industry insights on safety technologies.  The January 8th “webinar” will focus on carrier utilization of untethered trailer tracking systems (UTT) and their potential for enhancing asset management and security in trucking operations.

With the dramatic increase in the use of trailer tracking systems throughout the U.S., it is important to understand the operational impacts and opportunities that UTTs can provide.  Industry participants in the webinar will hear from Mike Gabbei, Chief Information Officer for Celadon Trucking Services, and Al Hoffer, Director of Trailer Operations for Landstar Systems on their use of UTT.

Motor carrier representatives can simultaneously listen and watch the live FMCSA-sponsored webinar from any location in the U.S. that has internet and telephone access.

To register for the webinar, send an email to FMCSA_Host@dot.gov and include the words “UTT Webinar” in the subject line.
