Research Assistant

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), a national leader in transportation-related research, seeks a detail-oriented Research Assistant to provide research and technical assistance for its Twin Cities office.  The Research Assistant supports the various research studies through internet research, survey data entry, interactions with industry stakeholders and by identifying, collecting and cataloging appropriate data and information sets.  

BS/BA, preferably in a technical field, required; 1 - 2 years experience in research, analysis and/or data collection is desirable.  Strong proficiency in MS Office and Internet research skills is required.  Must have ability to read and understand industry-related publications.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with ability to interact with various individuals on an interpersonal basis required.  Must have ability to prioritize diverse tasks for multiple projects, in order to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Some national travel is required.
